On the sparse fences
the faint chrysanthemums
the dusk was drunk
On the secluded trail
the thick frost
the purple bamboos was disconsolate

Playing lute
arousing your enthusiasm
you chanted summer
Playing flute with resentment
a wild goose lamented autumn
